A while back I was sitting in a hanging chair[rather neat]
\nand if “the eyes are the windows of the soul” I suppose my
\nsoul was taking in what was going on outside. A pleasant scene,
\nI used my toe to rotate through about a ninety degree arc.
\nNot a human in sight, I can live with that, ha,ha! Just me and
\nmy soul taking it all in.
\n“Suddenly there came a tapping”,ha,ha!
\nAnd then I heard a voice to my left and I thought “Christ no!,
\nnot another soul. I rotated in that direction and politely said
\n“are you talking to me?”[I’m fond of that quote from “Taxi”]
\nand she said, for it was a woman, “I guess not”.
\n“Touche” I thought, but this is what I said “I love your response
\nfor as you know I enjoy repartee”.
\nWe knew each other of course, and I knew at that very moment
\nthat those three words “I guess not” spoke volumes.
