When you spray a plant or insect, have you ever wondered how
\nor why they die? I have.
\nWhen the American army entered the Ruhr valley in Hitler’s Germany
\nthey discovered in some of the chemical factories various deadly
\nnerve agent formulas,[what a find].
\nThese were sent back to Washington and eventually distributed
\nto certain American chemical corporations including Dow and Monsanto. These formulas were altered, but to what extent pray tell,
\nand then sold to us as insect and plant killers.
\nI postulate that every living thing that walks, crawls or breaks
\nthe Earth’s surface, has a central nervous system to some degree.
\nIf you spray a roach for instance, it doesn’t drop dead immediately,
\nit goes into frenzied convulsions first then perishes.
\nI knew a fellow, some time ago, who sprayed the bilge of his
\nsailboat with roach killer to eliminate Palmetto bugs, kind of a
\ngiant roach, that had infested it. The boat was about thirty-five
\nfeet in length and it took quite some time to accomplish the task.
\nThe next morning he woke up to find his right thumb and forefinger
\ncomplete paralyzed. This paralysis did not go away and eventually
\nit took surgery to restore some movement.
