\nInterestingly, I think, neither my Funk and Wagnalls or Webster
\noffer a definition, although Webster does give a definition for foul
\nmouthed. I’m quite sure I know why they decline a definition,
\nthey would have to publish a book as thick as the world.
\nMy wife constantly scolds me for its use, however if she stubs
\nher toe,Hark! [I finally get to use an exclamation point]
\nShe says, “you have such a decent command of the language,
\nit detracts”, I say, “shit, I’m from the gutter”.
\nThere is a lot to be said for gutters, the civilized world could
\nnot have developed nor come so far without them.
\nI’m particularly fond of saying “fuck me to death”, I’ve even
\nlearned to say it in Spanish, “senga me al muerte”, or something
\nlike that. My personal definitions could be described as
\nperhaps elation, perhaps disappointment.
\nWhen a cat meows, or a dog barks, or a lion roars or an elephant
\ntrumpets, might they be saying “fuck” or “fuck me”?
