There is a saying, give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he has a life, or something like that.<\/p>\n
Strikes me that “Western Society” has not only not taught<\/p>\n
others to fish, it has garnered the fish they might have caught on their own, and I use the word fish figuratively as well<\/p>\n
as literally.<\/p>\n
Take Africa for instance, initially colonized then abandoned<\/p>\n
yet raped to this day for it’s wealth. Can you blame people<\/p>\n
fleeing what they see as a sinking ship and making for<\/p>\n
Europe, a sinking ship I might add largely torpedoed<\/p>\n
by the West. The irony of it all is that many of them literally do go down in sinking ships.<\/p>\n
