\noriginally were for the most part fleeing political, religious,
\nand economic persecution, and by the way does that sound familiar?
\nOf the one hundred and two passengers on the Mayflower, approximately
\nhalf of them perished within the first year, you might ponder that.
\n“Mayflower” by Nathaniel Philbrick, is a good read on the subject.
\nAs it turns out eventually the colonies were still under the domination
\nof a system their ancestors had fled., but these people were no longer
\noutcasts to be ignored, they had become powerful.
\nOur history tells us that they deliberated greatly before they revolted.
\nThat an alien, foreign, loathsome system of government is once again,
\nattempting to, for lack of a better word, colonize Americans prompts me
