Let us for a moment\u00a0 think that might be the case.<\/p>\n
Would then that not beg the question, does it make<\/p>\n
him for the better or for the worse?<\/p>\n
I suggest it quite often\u00a0 makes him for the worse,<\/p>\n
and I include the current holder although I voted<\/p>\n
for him twice. Hello?, you might ask, but shit,<\/p>\n
a lot of you did also.<\/p>\n
But he is not the “great White hope” I thought he<\/p>\n
might be, nor is he the “great Black, Brown or Yellow hope”.<\/p>\n
Could it be that men, when given the power to represent<\/p>\n
others, lose their moral compass, that is if they ever had one?<\/p>\n
That could be it “in a nutshell”, for as Lord Acton once said,<\/p>\n
“power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely,<\/p>\n
great men are almost always bad men.”<\/p>\n
