When I was a child I lived in my own world,
\n that is to say a world mostly populated
\nby other kids, some friendly, some not so much.
\nIt also consisted of events to some degree of
\nour own making.
\n“Adults” were out there and sometimes in their
\nown way trying to communicate with us, I’m sure.
\nI think you can only truly enter a child’s world
\nby invitation, and if fortunate enough to
\nreceive an invite one must simultaneously
