It’s easy enough to take 17-18-19 year olds, put them in<\/p>\n
uniform, in more than one way I might add, and send\u00a0 them<\/p>\n
off to some God-forsaken war to be maimed, die or become<\/p>\n
psychologically messed up.<\/p>\n
What do they know about life, just out of high-school,<\/p>\n
jobless perhaps, many have not even been laid; perfect cannon fodder.<\/p>\n
They know not about life, so it is so easy for them to take it.<\/p>\n
What is it with a country, a people, who so willingly stand by<\/p>\n
and watch their young, their flesh and blood, their future,<\/p>\n
sacrificed, and for what, pray tell?<\/p>\n
Islander.<\/p>\n
