Why do they not call this guy a “bagman”, as is certainly the case?
If you do not know what a bagman is, you will if you ever get in serious
trouble with the law. A lawyer will approach you and guarantee,
for a fee, that he can get you off the hook as he is very chummy
with the Judge, in other words he is the Judge’s bagman.
I’ll let the analogy go unsaid.
