Saint-Saens 3rd Symphony[Organ]

Recently I was sitting in the back of the house listening to Saint-Saens
with my eyes closed when a thought occurred to me. Earlier I had heard
on Telly that some counties in Colorado wanted to separate and the
reasons seemed clear to me. That is to say, how city folk see it and
how country, for lack of a better word, folk see it, and by it I mean
the world. I might be considered “country folk” in that what came to me was this thought, ” if I were looking out back as it was say two
hundred years ago would I necessarily recognize it?” and my answer was
yes. You might say country folk admire more what man has not done as
opposed to how city folk see it and I mean see it as they look out
their back door. Fucking brick walls and people up the kazoo. Wonderful!
Getting back to Saint-Saens, there was this construction of perfection
in my mind as it ended but on top of that I opened my eyes to
perfection upon perfection. A young Wild Almond twenty feet away,
twenty years old, its parent beyond it. Royal Poinciana to the North,
Tamarind, Mahogany, Gumbo Limbo and more Poinciana to the South.
Yes, easy to see what “country folk” observe and indeed feel about
their surroundings.
In a more serious vein though, I say “thank God” for the cities.
