Screwed and Screwers

When the average Joe contributes five or ten dollars to a

political campaign, what does he hope for? Good governance?,

better education for his kids?, improved roads and bridges

to travel on?, the opportunity to make a decent living?,

better health care or any health care?.

The answer to the above surely would be yes.

When the average multi-millionaire gives hundreds of

thousands or millions of dollars to a political campaign

what are his motives? Good governance?, that’s a joke.

Better education for his children?, they’re already

enrolled in Harvard, Yale or Princeton, or will be when

they come of age. Improved roads and bridges?, ha!,

he travels in his own personal jet. The opportunity

to make a decent living?, that’s absurd. Better health

care?, he has a health plan the equal of any congressman’s

or superior to it.

No, he expects one thing only and that is systemic corrupt-

ion which benefits him and his kind financially.

End of statement.                                                 Islander
