In June of 1941 a German army of three million men invaded Russia
with an overwhelming superiority of every weapon known to man.
The Russian’s arms were inferior in every respect and they were
scantily armed at that.
But they did have one thing going for them and that was guts.
In futile counter-attacks Russia sent waves of men into combat.
The first wave was armed, consequent waves were not.
As the men in the first wave fell, following men picked up their arms
and continued the assault.
In September of 1980 Iraq attacked Iran. The Iranians faced the same
dilemma that the Russians had long before, but again they did have
one ace in the hole, their bravery.
Adopting the tactic of first wave armed, following waves not, they
fought Iraq to a standstill.
These Iranians are something else, make no mistake.
