Gods Big Mistake

Or was it? You know, the Bible quite often makes sense,

better men than me have come to that conclusion.

However, I feel that sense must have its order, therefore I will

argue the chronology, or timeline if you will of Genesis.

I believe that God rested on the sixth day. I can envisage God

that Saturday morning sitting on the rock he had just created,

pondering the firmament and all the creatures, except for one.

Surely he must have thought “damn I’ve created a perfect world”.

But then, like a bolt out of the blue he had also just created, came

the thought, “shit, there’s no such thing as perfection, what to do?”

So that Saturday he kicked back, relaxed and gave it some thought.

“Voila”, on Sunday he created man.

Is God the original practical joker?, I wouldn’t  be surprised.

I put it to you believer, you were made in Gods image.

Surely you’re aware that mankind is quite adroit at destroying

its own creations, writers and artists are notorious for it.

Was God not an artist?                                    Islander
