I correspond this way with others that correspond with me from the
goodness of their minds, their hearts mostly, I think.
And by the way many of the questions I receive I have answered
in previous Letters to the Editors, which can be accessed by typing
that title into the search box and clicking.
I wish now to explicitly respond to the following comment sent to me.
“When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments
are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four
Emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people
from that service? Thanks a lot!”
My answer is that perhaps a year and a half ago I received an identical
comment and at that time I queried WebHostingHub as to what could be
done. Evidently the only thing they could do was to send me a test
comment which garnered no solution as far as they were concerned.
At that point I wrote a Letter to the Editors warning readers not
to click on the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox.
You might say “reader be warned”. Although I have only received
two comments of that nature, it bothers me but “vat can I do,
I am only a corporal”, ha,ha!
In a lighter vein, some one suggested I avoid focusing on the
“cause de jour”, and I can appreciate that and I am guilty of that.
Someone else said I could jazz up the site, add some photos, videos,
I think they used the word “pop”, and I can appreciate that idea
but I say fuck that noise, this isn’t Facebook and as for Twitter
I’ll leave that up to the Twits, ha,ha! No offense I hope, ha,ha!
Enough, Islander.
PS. Some have asked if they can “quote me”? I guess.
Me of all people?,ha,ha!, for what it’s worth, it bothers me not.
