In the Old World people respected their Elders; in the
New World, not so much. In the New World, elders are
disposable, but what can you expect in a throw-away society.
Once upon a time old ones would live out their lives among
family if they had them , or close friends if not.
In casting off, isolating, forgetting, nay, abandoning Senior
Citizens this nation earns a black mark in the history of humanity.
