Like the Orangutan, sometimes I sits and thinks, so the thought came
to me “can common sense overcome the virus?”. But the thought was
immediately confronted by the Devil’s Advocate in me.
Common sense?, was it common sense to strip ourselves of the ability
to defend against such an occasion? All I can say is, after the storm if
nothing else, let’s get away from putting all our eggs offshore, golden
eggs I might add.
Let’s not be known for the “service industry” nation we’ve become.
Common sense, in my opinion., demands that we return to the
manufacturing nation we once were, capable of supplying every need
that might arise.
