You might think that to ask a question of others
indicates that you wish to engage in conversation
with them, in that you want to hear what they have
to say, and you must respond for indeed it to
be a conversation.
But, as we all know, a question in any form is
quite often a statement.
Have you ever had, no, that’s dumb of me,
we all have imaginary conversations with others,
here I’d like to add that we have conversations with
ourselves and I’m not sure where that fits in,
anyway, not to get to deep into the woods,
I have had imaginary conversations with people
prior to meeting them, thinking in my mind I might
control the event. However, I have come to the conclusion
that F&W’s definition makes sense. “Imaginary, adj.
Existing in the imagination only; unreal.”
Unreal is the key word;- still, have you ever talked yourself
out of something- or into something?
Perhaps there’s a lot to be said for unreality, ha-ha!
