This is my tenth letter and in it I wish to clarify a few things.
First, it might seem that I am fixatedly commenting on the
“master of the universe”[his idea] and indeed that is true.
In my defense I say, it’s hard to ignore a runaway train,
particularly so in the sense that one is an unwilling
passenger on it. How’s that for an analogy?, ha,ha!
Will someone please pull the emergency cord, ha,ha!
Secondly, and I’ve said this before, when I started posting I was
adamant in my mind that I would not respond to comments if there
were any. As it turns out there were and are.
The spam I ignore and put to trash, this does not stop them
of course, but they do have IP addresses and I’m toying with
looking into that fact in search of a possible solution.
If I come up with something I’ll let you know.
As to individual comments, which I do appreciate and they encourage
me no end, I now, somewhat circumspectively, respond in these
occasional letters.
I find some questions asked of me rather repetitive.
Questions about the intricacies of the Internet I cannot answer
as my knowledge in that respect is quite limited.
Other questions such as how to go online, how much it costs, etc.,
I have answered. One complaint I have received a few times but
cannot do anything about is when people click on the new comments
checkbox and consequently receive multiple identical responses.
My advice is don’t click on it.
Everything I have mentioned above is addressed in former letters
and I suggest one should type Another Letter to the Editors in
the search box to access them.
One more thing, I’ve recently noticed that my former posts are
no longer accessible as they once were, so I plan to publish
their titles, in small batches from time to time, going back to
the advent of this website. The titles can then be typed in the
search-box and retrieved, as I believe for the most part they
