Personally, I consider contact between Americans of any stripe
and Russians of any stripe a good thing, and God-damn it to
Hell I find it hard to believe that other Americans disagree.
As an American I would rather make peace than war.
And when I make what you might think a trite statement,
I mean peace must be conceived and met upon.
Met, meeting, do you get it?
Speaking of meetings, how refreshing it would be if the
powers that be released visual footage covering the meeting
of American and Soviet troops at the Elbe River in Germany
at the end of W.W. 2.
I daresay it would be a revelation to many Americans these
so many generations since.
But don’t hold your breath and not to change the subject,
more egregious than fake news is withheld news.
In closing, if nothing else, you might research the definition
of the word “conceive” .
