Chopin’s 2nd Piano Concerto

It can be totally hypnotic if you allow it. I’ll tell you what works
for me. A room with subdued light, natural, and a view of what this
island has to offer. In my case a narrow horizontal view perhaps no
more than thirty degrees, sixty degrees vertical.
That is good, it focuses my sight, my mind and in a way is stand
alone hypnotic. Some thing to do with the “set and setting” I read
about many years ago. Cannot remember the authors name,
but he was right.
Chopin can and does lighten up occasionally, so you slip out of his
trance only to be entranced by your surroundings.
I call that a Quinela or something like that.
