A while back, in a post I titled “Herbie”, I discussed schmucks
and racists, and when I think about it you can juxtapose those
two words in a sentence as smoothly as you can spread butter on bread.
I generalized then but now, having seen so many of them on Telly
lately, I have the urge to focus my pen, sharpen my pencil.
I allude to racists, of course, and in the interests of brevity
I shall be succinct,[I like succinct].
When a man says of a President “I shall do everything in my power
to ensure that he serves but one term”, and another man does
everything in his power to dispute this President’s birthplace;
they are motherfucking racists, buddy, I shit you not.
