During the “Nuremberg Trials” German officials
and generals defended themselves against the
charge of “crimes against humanity”, saying
they were following Hitler’s orders.
Most received long prison terms, some were hung,
at least one, Goering , committed suicide.
Today in this country you have government officials
and generals possibly being asked to commit
a “crime against humanity” in my opinion.
By the way, that court in Nuremberg, Germany
was presided over by Americans among others.
