Conflict

Funk and Wagnalls definition, Circa, 1976. “Conflict [n. kon’flikt; v. kon-flikt’] n. 1. A struggle; battle.          2. Mutal antagonism, as of ideas, interests, etc. 3. A clash between contradictory  impulses within an  individual — v.i. 1. To come into collision; be in mutual opposition; clash. 2. To engage in battle; struggle.   [ < L < com– together + fligere to strike ] — con-flic’tive adj.”

So, thats F&W’s definition of conflict. Might I add it is also the definition of mankind, ha,ha,–ha,ha,ha!
