When you consider people like Presidents or Supreme Court justices for instance, you see them at the height of power. I myself, like most Americans, in contrast am relatively powerless. So, as a class, the aforementioned rule, better said they share this power with another class, the rulers of industry. And so you see something like church and state of old or in this day and age a Fascist state. If you don’t believe me, look up the definition of Fascism.
